change the layout of a category??

I was able to change the list layout using Components/Phoca Download/Layouts and I edited the middle editable text box. That worked fine. I want to change the category layout, which is the level before we see the list. But I don't see changes apply. In Components/Phoca Download/Options/Theme Settings I have the "Display Specific Layout" set to Yes

What am I missing here?

Hi, and did you set some design layout for this? Did you test it with another template (e.g. in case your template overrides the Phoca Download output)

well, I saw that the items were changing in the list, but when I edited the other text area fields in the layout section the other pages didn't change. I didn't know if it was different. For instance I have a category list as page from a menu item. I want to style that. Where do I do that?

it's not working... but how can I create a category over ride?

I tried adding the folder category into my theme

mytheme/html/com_phocadownload/views/category

and that has all of the elements tmpl folder

Hi, in such folder, you should then use directly the file which you want to overwrite - e.g. default.php or default_files.php
