Hello. I'm trying to install phoca guestbook 3.0.2 in my joomla 3.3.3 installation, but it fails with a 400 error (Bad Request - Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.) on a Apache/2.2.16 (Debian) Server.
After failing the com installion I also tried the com_phocaguestbook_ftp_install.zip with https://www.phoca.cz/documents/3-phoca-g ... em-solving instuctions But when i'm trying to install the zip file it also give the same 400 error.
There is one thing i did noticed, the install.sql in that file is empty, shouldend there be some instruction to create the phocaguestbook tables and the instructions to add the component in the joomla installation.
Is ther somebody who can help me?

Re: cannot install phoca guestbook 3.0.2
Hi,
the FTP installation ZIP package is not designed for Joomla! 3
If the standard installation does not work, there can be following problems:
- some problems in Extension manager which installs extensions in Joomla! (most probably, there will be no problem)
- some limits on the server (memory, time, other limits) - you need to see the errorLog on your server or ask your webhosting provider
- some obsolete data can prevent from installing component.
Try to install it with FTP, see:
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-joomla ... -in-joomla
Sometimes there can be problems with obsolete instance, so it is good to manually clean Joomla! extensions table and reinstall (be aware - all data of extension will be removed), see:
https://www.phoca.cz/documents/16-joomla ... m-manually
