Choose "Cover" photo for an album (category)

Hi,

I've looked around for something like this, but the only posts I could find went back to 2008 and I thought maybe something changed since then.

Would it be possible to choose which photo appears as the "cover" for the category? It could be a field in that specific photo's settings or something like that?

If it's not possible yet, I'll go enter ut in the uservoice.

Hi, for now you can set:

- folder icon as category image
- image from the category (without recursive function - still the same)
- random image from the category or subcategories
- image with specific ordering from the category or subcategory (first, last, first alphabetical, etc.)
- avatar
- or no image

But ther is no option to select some specific outside the cateory - this is in feature request list.

Hi, there is no settings for size of category image.

You can set the image as category folder in parameters, search this forum or see:
