Problem viewing images in control panel

Hi,
I have just upgraded to 2.7.1 and clicked the authorise all within users,
The problem I now have is that I want to delete images from inside the control panel but when I click on images, all I get is a white screen with a hyoerlink that says 'disable thumbnail creation'

I have refreshed several times and waited patiently but my images do not appear.
They are okay on the website, just not within the control panel.

Please help.

Ok, don't worry. This problem appears to have rectified itself. There was a problem creating the thumbnails but I wasn't aware of this until I reloaded the page again and I got more information.
Once I deleted the offending files, it seemed to work.
