Pending order amount different to order amount

I have setup and tested to go to PayPal which shows the correct amount. Then I cancel and get my pending email that I setup. In the pending email I have the following variables

Total to pay:{totaltopaynoformat}
Currency: {currencycode}

My order was for 74


but email shows



from



I have got percentage set in paypal as the calculation type. I will test with Fixed Amount yet this setting seemed to have no effect on the final amount going to PayPal.

Any thoughts?

Hi,
just as an idea: Did you define a 25% tax at any point?
If so, 93.00 £ would be brutto amount and 74.40 £ netto amount.
