Hi,

I regularly add new categories to my site all the time. I want to be able to highlight to my visitors which are the most recent ones that were added. For example, show the 3 most recent categories that were added. This would be a similar concept to showing the most recent articles on a site. Is this possible with the plugin with respect to categories?

Hi, for now, I don't know any module which will list latest categories. Most of the modules/plugins work with the tree (tree of categories in multiple level), so there is no possible to order categories by date when they are ordered in tree format. So I think, the only way is to write own plugin for this

Hi Jan. Ok, that's what I suspected. I have never written anything for Joomla before, so I'm probably out of luck I guess. Anyhow, thanks for confirming.
