Phoca Gallery Plugin crashes with undefined constant DS

when enabling phoca gallery plugin the system crashes in front- and backend
with the error "Use of undefined constant DS - assumed 'DS' "

using Joomla 4 and Phoca Gallery 4.5.2

adding the line:
if(!defined('DS')) define('DS', DIRECTORY_SEPARATOR);

to phocagalleryslideshow.php let's the system crash with error 500

1.) Which version of Phoca Gallery Plugin do you use?
2.) Try to enable Joomla! Debug mode to get a complete error message with file and line (Call Stack).

oh sorry, was my mistake, i used an older version of the plugin (3.2.0), this was working with Joomla 4,
but now i have updated the plugin to 4.4.0 and now the backend doesnt crash anymore when activating the
plugin, but slideshow in frontend is not apearing!?

i have updated the plugin to 4.4.0

Current version of Phoca Gallery Plugin for J4 is v4.5.4

sorry the phoca gallery plugin i installed is the 4.5.4
but phoca gallery slideshow plugin i installed is 4.4.0 and that causes the slideshow not to appear
