Migrating from Joomla 3.10 to 4.2 and Gallery from v4.3.10 to v4.5.2

I am working on a new Joomla installation, fresh install of v4.2.5. This means I want to do a fresh install of Phoca Gallery. I am currently on v4.3.10 and I'll use v4.5.2. I don't want to have to reconfigure all of the gallery's can categories etc... What can I export from the database, and import into the new installation to minimize my efforts? Can I just export the category table, change the table name and import into the new database? Will that work? Is there anything else I need to do?
