error after install

I've tried several times to install Phoca Gallery but I keep getting the following error message when I click the button to configure Phoca Gallery:

An error has occurred.
404 Component not found.

I downloaded com_phocagallery_v4.5.2.zip from the Phoca website and then uploaded and installed it so the component should be there somewhere. It's not showing anywhere. It is listed in the list of Plugins.
Why can't I succeed?

When I click on the Phoca Gallery Plugin in the list of Plugins, this is the result:

An error has occurred.
0 The file phocagallery.xml could not be found.

and also an error message when I click on the Phoca Gallery Slideshow in the list of Plugins:

An error has occurred.
0 The file phocagalleryslideshow.xml could not be found.

Why are the files missing when I've just installed the?

Which Joomla! version do you use?
Which PHP version do you use?

I'm using the latest J4 which was updated yesterday. Don't recall the number.
I'm using php 7.4

Does this make a difference?

I checked via file manager on my host and these folders are present:
/administrator/components/com_phocagallery/
/plugins/editors-xtd/phocagallery/

In J3 there was also a /plugins/content/phocagallery/ but it's not present in the current install.

I tried to access photogallery via plugin list and received the error message that phocagallery.xml was missing. Not true. They're present in both folders.

I'm really puzzled. Thanks for any advice/help you can give.

Until now Phoca Gallery Slideshow Plugin for Joomla! 4 is not available.

Thanks Benno,
That's made a difference. Why? I have no idea as I'd thought I'd downloaded and then uploaded the ones you listed. Maybe doing it all again for the umpteenth time did something magical, or maybe your kind respond unlocked the magic.
Now all I have to do is figure out to get it all to appear on the site as I'd like.
Any word on when Gallery Slideshow might be ready for J4?
