How to create meny for category?

Hi friends,
I just installed Phoca Download on my Joomla website.....I wanna ask can I use phoca Download more than one time on the same joomla?

In other words how can I use phoca Download for multiple instances?

I want to create different categories for different sections on my website...and each category should be displayed directly from that section....

I hope you will help me..
I am waiting 4 ur replies....

You can use phoca download with many sections / categories.

However, the component does not have an option to create direct menu links to a specific section, a specific category, or a specific file. In April 2009, I created a patch file for the then current version of phoca download v 1.1.0. This patch file enabled the creation of those missing menu types. Unfortunately, I have not updated the patch since then and do not know if it works with the current version of phoca download.

Due to the way Joomla and Phoca Download handle menu ItemID's, this patch works best on a site that has SEF links enabled.

I don't know if I am missing something. I downloaded the patch from http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/phocadload_menu/frs/

The result was - Error! Could not find an XML setup file in the package.

I checked in the zip file and only found a metadata.xml file buried down a few levels.

It is not an installable package. You must upload the files to the appropriate folders on your server. My recommended method of upload is through an FTP Client.

I ve installed the patch, looks good but i get a script error in ie and the button to move up to the section says 404

Do you have the same script error in other browsers? Which menu item type is there a problem with?

Can you share the URL where this is happening?
