Thumbnail not create

hi,
Here i face the problem while uploading the image

1. when i upload the some image it shows the message that your image is successfully upload but it did not shows the preview because it did not create thumbnail. we try to recreate the thumbnail but it did not work.
2. some images are upload with error like "file type is not valid".
3. we are upload only JPG image with max. size of file is not more than 2 M.B.

Please give us a solution as soon as possible

Hi,
try to check if thumbnail creation is enabled:
backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Options --> Main -->
Enable Thumbnails Generation=Yes
Save & Close
