So this can't be done then
Let me get this straight, Phoca will not upload images (one or multiple) from my computer to the images/phocagallery folder, even though it states so in the users manual: "You can upload images: via Phoca Gallery (Add or Multiple Add in Menu » Phoca Gallery » Gallery)". I have tried everything. "Menu » Phoca Gallery » Gallery" doesn't exist anywhere that I can see. Have I missed something?

Re: So this can't be done then
Hi,
The user manual needs some updating to version 2.x (It's planned) - You'll find the 'add' and 'multiple add' button in components >> phoca gallery >> images.
In the multiple add you'll find a box with the images and folders on your server. This is used to add the images to a category and to display them in the website.
Below is a box to upload images. Just press the browse button and it uploads to the server. If that doesn't work, it could be, because you have adobe flash plugin 10. See the red box on top of the forum for this.
You can also upload images via FTP or via the media manager in Joomla! (the upload function in add and multiple add uses the media manager in Joomla! - so if it doesn't work, check out if it works with the media manager).
I hope I helped you with this.
Good luck!
Carolien
