500 Error when using Phoca Gallery Plugin with Joomla 3

Post by tim.baker »

Hi

I have installed the Beta version of Phoca Gallery (4.0.0) in to Joomla 3, and all works very nicely (thank you Jan, I believe you are the mastermind behind all this!).

Trouble is I want to display some articles with a Photo Gallery but the plugin (which says 1.5 or any newer stable version) causes a 500 Internal Server Error when installed. I have tried switching on error reporting through htaccess but it does seam to produce any error codes so that must be due to my host.

Does anyone know of a version which will work with J3! or is there not one yet? Or indeed is this the right one, but there is a problem with it?

Thanks

At this moment, there is no joomla! v3 Phoca Gallery Plugin available.

Kind regards,

Thank you for your quick response!

Do you know if there is another way to associate a photo gallery with an article?

I know this is a "how long is a piece of string" question but do you know if there is a plugin in development?

Thanks again!

Jan is still working on the Components, to make them stable. After this he will work on plugins, modules, etc.

Kind regards,
