[Solved] Can't view/add new single images in folders

Post by oldsneakers »

Hi,

I searched thru this forum for an answer and only found one person asking this question and it wasn't answered. Here's what I'm using

Joomla 1.5.23
com_phocagallery_v2.8.1.zip
PHP Version 5.2.17
MySQL client version: 5.5.23

My problem is, when I am using the Phoca control panel/add multiple images, I cannot navigate with mouse clicks into the individual folders(I FTP'd the folders and images). When I click on a folder, it does not bring me into that folder with the individual images. It kicks me back to the previous folder I was in. The same thing happens when I use the add single image, I can't get into the folder. I can select the entire folder and create all the thumbnails, but this problem prevents me from adding a new additional image to an existing folder/category. I've tried it on IE, Chrome, Safari and Firefox. And installed the latest Java on each of them. I get the same thing on an apple tablet. I am limited to this version of Joomla by my host.

Thanks

I appreciate everyone reading over this post. I finally figured out what my problem was. I had subfolders with names that had spaces in them. Like "Bobs Big Adventure" for example. By replacing the spaces with underscores, Phoca was happy and I can now see the photos in the folders. I should have known. I think it was XP that started allowing spaces in names and a lot of legacy stuff still doesn't like it. Yay!
