Fatal error: Cannot make static method..line 75 - loader.php

Install was successful (after 1 full day!)
I get a blank page when trying to access any of the Phocagallery component via back-end. I have switched on php error display and this is what I see:

Fatal error: Cannot make static method JLoader::import() non static in class PhocaGalleryLoader in /var/www/vhosts/mydomain.com/httpdocs/administrator/components/com_phocagallery/libraries/loader.php on line 75

I have seen a post with the same issue. It was suggested that another component was causing the problem. Not my case however - I have not installed any other components.

Hi all,

I've the same problem. On both side, Backend and frontend. I dont know why. Installed components are:
Phoca Gallery 2.8.1, Phoca Guestbook 2.0.3 and EasyCaptcha ECC+2.5.3.
Jommla version 2.5.6.
Do you have any idea to fix this problem? Thank you for your help.

Hi, you should install Phoca Gallery 3.x in Joomla! 2.5
