Image instead of foldericon for subcatagories

Hi everybody
I really like phocagallery but I have a small problem now that I can't solve

I have a gallery on http://www.suisse-togo/suissetogo/ which I want to organize with categories. So I created the category "Projekte" with 2 subcategories. For the maincategory there is an image instead of the folder icon which gets pulled from one of the subcategories. Why is that not the case for the subcategories?

Hi,
backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Control Panel --> Options --> Display --> Category View Settings -->
Display Image Instead Of Folder Icon=Yes
Save & Close
