Filtering display of photo

How can I filter a display in the front end,
for example by name,description, date, etc,

Any ideas ?

Hi,
unfortunately you didn't mention which version of joomla you use.
So this is the way for Phoca Gallery for joomla v1.6 & v1.7
backend --> Menus --> Your Menu with menu item to Phoca Gallery Component --> Your menu item to Phoca Gallery Component --> Menu Manager: Edit Menu Item --> Basic Options
Display Ordering Select Box (Categories View)=Display
Display Ordering Select Box (Category View)=Display
Save & Close
