Save options not possible with PG 3.1.1 (J1.7)

Post by Matze848 »

Hi!
I've installed the latest PG version 3.1.1 under a new Joomla 1.7.3 website. When opening "Control Panel" -> "Options", it is possible to change the settings, but when pressing "Save" or "Save & Exit", none of the values are stored and I'm redirected to the main configuration site of the Joomla installation!
After several re-installations I'm giving up and post the problem here. Hope that someone has a clue...

Best regards,
Matze

Hi Jan,

thanks for the hint. There's also a problem when selecting an image from a category view - lightbox opens, but not the big image is displayed, but once again the category.
I've asked my provider to change the suhosin default values, but I'm not shure if he will/can do it. Is there any other option, perhaps to reduce the set of POST parameters or something else?

Best regards,
Matze

Hi, I cannot answer this question. :-( It's like if you cut off the roof of your car because you can not fit it in into your garage.

But now seriously - setting 200 to 250 in suhosing settings is much easier than selecting which feature you will skip from some software application and modify it all to fit your changes  So spending some seconds to change parameter cannot be compared to spending days to customize (cut features) from some application.
