increase of file size for upload

Junning Joomla 1.6

There is a limit set for 3 MB files to be uploaded.
Can this be increased, as my .pdf files are larger than the 3 MB?
I you answer in the affirmative, please tell me how to increase the file size.

Hi, you can set it in parameters. But it needs to be allowed in your server settings too. Some servers are limited e.g. to 2mb.

I have the same problem. I modified the server upload limit to 10M and it shows in the phpinfo() but in phoca it still shows 3MB.

Solved: top right corner options>general.
