Slideshow in Catagories

Hi

Why can't i create a phoca slideshow within a phoca catagory.

Take an other detail view. E.g. Highslide(Image only) https://www.phoca.cz/demo/highslide-image

I've tried that and it doesn't make any diffence unfortunately.

The gallery is built this way

Husforslag (catagory)

Husforslag -> Bornholm (subcatagory)

In the subcatagory (Bornholm) i've got my description and it's also here i need to put a slide show

I can see that you changed the detail view to Highslide(Image only) and when I cklick on an image in this category I can start the slideshow. So, is this problem solved now?

No it's not because I want to be able to insert a slideshow in the subcategory as well

If you change the detail view in

1.) backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Parameters --> Detail View Settings -->
Detail Window=Highslide JS(Image Only)
or in:
2.) backend --> Menus --> Your Menu with Link to Phoca Gallery Component --> Your Link to Phoca Gallery Component --> Menu Item: [ Edit ] Phoca Gallery Category List Layout --> Parameters (Component) --> Detail View Settings -->
Detail Window=Highslide JS(Image Only)

you should be able to see this detail view in the subcategory(s) as well, because this setting concerns all categories, including subcategory(s).

if you look at following

The page shown is a subcatagory i phoca. (husforslag: main catagory -> Træhus bornholm: sub catagory)

You'll see that just above the thumbnails is a code: {pgslideshow id=8|width=640|height=480|delay=3000|image=L}

This code is inserted in the subcatagory (træhus Bornholm) in phoca - but it doesn't work in the front end. I don't want to change the lightbox for the thumbnails. I just want the slideshow to work...

Hi,
ok, now I see what you mean, but

Phoca Gallery Slideshow Plugin is a Joomla! 1.5 plugin which displays slideshow of images from selected Phoca Gallery category in an article content.

unfortunatly the description of a category is not an article in article content, so I think this will not work....
