So I've seen similar problems to this but nothing seems to have fixed the issue. Basically, the Phoca Gallery component installed just fine, I created a category and uploaded a few test images. I then made the menu link and set the alias as "media", because I have SEF set with joomla.
First off, if you go to the page the gallery should be (http://www.southboundstation.com/media) the page is blank. No error message, no template, nothing. Secondly, if you go to the given link (non-SEF), the gallery does appear in the correct place, but if you try to enlarge an image it throws a 404.
The link to the long url is here http://www.southboundstation.com/index. ... egory&id=1.
So, any help I could get with this would be much appreciated. Phoca Gallery seems like a fantastic component if I could only get it to work!
Thanks,

Hello and thanks for the reply.
Yes I did read that article. However, it says that if a menu link is created, it should create the sef url just fine and everything is good. It speaks of when you use a module that you will have issues because it has no itemid. However... I'm not using a module, I'm only using the Phoca gallery component and used a menu link to create the gallery page.
This is why I can't see how that article applies to me, even though I have the same symptoms.
Thanks

Hi,
I think it´s a path problem. If you use http://www.southboundstation.com/medias it works for me.
Kind regards,
Benno
