Disable detail view

the easiest thing to do, would be to switch to a simple, clean modal 'popup' like shadowbox, highslide or slimbox (see demopage for more!). This way, the category-page stays on the screen

to completely disable it, you have to edit the code - don't know how exactly, probably by removing the link around the images...
