Problem after Joomla update to 1.5.23

But no idea there:

- try to check if this is not related to languages using
- if there is no setting with cache - on the server, in joomla, etc.
- try to check it without SEF enabled

Hello, after searching around an hour, found that it must be something with css.
If I switch my site (where I've got the same problem with that "after reply massage") to another
template, everything works fine. Maybe the joomla guys changed something with the system.css or something similar.
worked half an hour with Firebug, without solution...

Edit: Day later- 15 Minutes later-Solved-
I compared an index.php from my template (not working with "after reply message" )with an index.php form a working template... At the point, where the index.php starts to load the real content (after body and banners and so on) i found in the working php: <jdoc:include type="message" /> which was missing in the not working one.
Copied that to my php at a slightly good position and now it works !!!
Some more things are to be done in the css, because the format is not so good, but thats part of the template.
So the fault was the template !!!

Strange thing is that I get the confirmation message "Thank you for your entry" in every page of my web site..

f.e. After posting, I click to go to my home page. I get the message there.

Hmmm, really no idea (cache should be disabled in core, maybe the sef extension if installed can use some cache too, ???)

I've fixed the problem by disabling the System - Cache plug in.

Can anyone please check if Phoca GuestBook works fine with System Cache plugin enabled?

Hi, I can confirm it, after the cache plugin is enabled, the system message is not displayed there. But really no idea why, the system message is produced by Joomla! itself, Phoca Guestbook only add info about which text should be displayed through the Joomla! system messaging ???

I have the same problem, I upgrade from Joomla 1.5.22 to 1.5.23.
I installed Phoca Guestbook 1.4.4. and earlier i updated it form 1.4.2.
When we post an new item in the Guestbook, the new item is dicplayed without the content.

I reinstall the component, no result.

Hello Jan, yes i can see you message in the guestbook on the website:

But when I post a message the content of the message is not displayed again.
I use IE 9.0

In IE 9.0 I see your message and I create my message in IE9.0.
When I use the compatibility mode then I see a line before the content text.
When I turn off the compatibility mode then I see not the lines before the content text.
When I open the Guestbook page in FF 3.5.19 I see the same information.

My first Idea was, maybee it is an IE9.0 issue, but it isn't.
