Prevent browsing to parent category from a menu entry

Maybe you just need to point me to the right documentation or ...

I have a rather large categories tree (with 3 root categories). I also have one [categories view] menus entry.
For some important category (s) I do create additional menu entries by [category view]. This may point to any category. From that menu entry I want to be able to explore all subcategories of this category, but NOT its parents. I do display the back/up button to be able to go up a hiearchie in case I did go done, but this back/up button do allow to go up beyond the in the menu configured category and so the entire categories tree becomes available again.
Is there a way for this menu entry to prevent this going up beyond the in the menu configured category?

Is it clear what I mean

Example Categories Tree
R1
- C1
- SC1.1
-C2
-C3
-SC3.1
-SC3.2
R2
- ....

Now if I crate a menu to C3 I want the user to only explore the subtree of C3 to SC3.1 and SC3.2 but not go through the back/up botton back to R1 and and to C1 and so on...

But is is the behavior I have at the moment on my page...

Hi, this seems like SEF limit. You can disable "up" link to parent category but if you have some other menu link on your site to one component, it can happen, that the link switch from one menu link to other menu link where there is no limit for "up" link

Hi, is there a way to disabee the "up" link just for a menu entry? (I think not).
If I disable this functionality in general (phoca galery option -> category view -> display back button) there is no way for the user to navigate back (up the category hierarchy) for that menu item? (As fare as I see only the breadcrumbs?, and those might not be shown). If I open a menu and be in a category, and navigate down 4 levels I do not want to start gain with the menu if i just want to go up one category to navigate down another category. That would be two more clicks and a lot of remembering for the user.
Do you see my point? Disabling "up" in general is a no go.
I just do not want the "up" button not shown if the current shown category is the category configured in the menu to prevent navigating up beyond the menu configured category.
Form my point of view this does not have anything to do with SEF.

Understood? Any suggestions?

But not sure if this will work 100%, this does not prevent from switching itemid from one menu link to other.

Other way is to change it for each category, but this needs to have a lot of modification in code.
