category title?

I recently posted a question about getting phoca gallery set up in my main menu. Well, I finally got that fixed and now the problem is this:

A new category: Click on NEW, then fill out the page, putting the name of the category at the top and alias below.

Then I get an error message, telling me my Category must have a title. I did put in a title name and an alias, so what is wrong here??

I will research this while I wait for an answer.

Hi,
just seek this forum for "Category must have a title"
You will find several reasons for this issue. E.g. missing database table(s) etc.
Mostly once more installing of Phoca Gallery helps.

Well, I uninstalled and reinstalled and tried again and got the same error message. Funny thing is I had this up and running just a while back and something happened while playing around with menus and I had to make a menu again. I even had some images loaded.

Do you have a plan B?

I read several of the older posts about this issue but nothing I could really understand. If it gets too deep into technical stuff, I'm lost.

What else can I do?

Try to get as much informations as possible about this error.

This one is solved now. I went to the upgrade install at the bottom of the extensions install page and after it upgraded, I got categories working! Put this down as one of the things to try.
