Changing the language

I have problems with changing the language of my Phoca guestbook. First of all, I'm using Joomla 3.2.2 with a German language package from J!German (v.3.2.2.1) and the default template "Protostar".

That's what I did so far:
- I downloaded and installed the guestbook (it's working)
- i downloaded the german package here: https://www.phoca.cz/download/category/5 ... -component# (de-DE.com_phocaguestbook_j15.zip)
- I extracted the zip file and copied the two ini files to both "administrator/language/de-DE/" and "language/de-DE/"
- I checked the Joomla configuration to be sure it's set to German as default language ("Control Panel" -> "Language Manager" -> "Installed - Site")
- I tried to install a new language for content (in the Language Manager) but can't find German there

But the guestbook is still English instead of German. Did I miss any important step or did I do anything wrong?

Ja, Du hast etwas übersehen. Du hast die deutsche Übersetzung für Phoca Guestbook für Joomla! v1.5 installiert und die funktioniert ab Joomla! v1.6 nicht mehr, weil ab da jede Zeile der Übersetzung in Gänsefüßchen gesetzt sein muß.
Du solltest diese Version verwenden

und ganz normal mit dem Joomla! Installer installieren. Also nichts entpacken und irgendwo hin kopieren. Das macht das Paket von selbst.
