Creating vertically and horizontally oriented thumbnails

Hi,

I would like to use Phoca Gallery with Phoca Gallery Plugin, Phoca Gallery Slideshow Plugin and Phoca Gallery Button. My Joomla version is 3.1.1.

My first question is, if are there any compatible versions of those plugins with Joomla 3.x.x. I`ve downloaded the last version of the plugins, but they seems to be compatible with Joomla 2.5 version only.

My second question is about creating thumbnails. Original images on my web site have dimensions 1024x768px and 768x1024px. Sometines is combination both those formats in one folder (images in one folder should be one category in Phoca Gallery). For me is very important to constrain proportions of original images on thumbnails. Thumbnails inserted on web page sometimes should be oriented horizontally and vertically (in case, that I have horizontally or vertically oriented only thumbnails, I can set dimensions in appropriate settings).

Is possible to create thumbnails in one gallery with both orientation?

No, till now there are no Joomla! 3.x plugins, just wait a little bit..

Yes, this is possible, if you set "Crop Thumbnails" in Phoca Gallery Options to "None"
And set the thumbnail size for small thumbnails eg. to 50x50px
for medium thumbnails e.g. to 100x100px
for large thumbnails e.g to 800x800 px

Is known approximate term of release of compatible Joomla 3.x plugins to Phoca Gallery?

No, at first Jan will make Phoca Components stabil, after that Modules & Plugins will follow.
