Only shortcode displays (no images)

I've installed Phoca Gallery v4.0.0_RC in Joomla! 3.1.1 made a category, uploaded 55 images, generated the thumbnails. I put the short code "{phocagallery view=category|categoryid=1}" (typing in the curly brackets) in an article, but the only thing that shows up on the page is the shortcode.

I'm aiming for displaying these images in a grid on the page (in the component) is this the correct usage? Is the shortcode wrong or how can I isolate what the problem might be here? Thanks

This is Phoca Gallery Plugin code. But there is no Phoca Gallery Plugin for Phoca Gallery v4.0.0 available, till now.
So, you have to wait a little bit.
