image order and arrows problem

Hello I have joomla 2.5.9, phoca gallery 3.2.3 and the latest phocagallery plugin.
I cant chenge the order of the images on frontend ( my web site is not online). I change the order and press the floppy icon so the take the new order but in frontend nothing changes.
The arrows signs on the order column are not activated ( they are grey and not blue as the activated simbols)
I tried also changing from category image ordering but nothing happens also from there.
Another questio: the images that I cancel where are they go and how can I cancel them for ever? Seems that they also influence my choices.

Hi, there is remove and unpublish function. Remove will remove the images and unpublish will make them not published

Testing now the ordering and see no problem
