Remove background color?

Hey is it possible to remove the background color and spacing in between the images in the category view and the boarder? So that the boarder is straight flush with the actual image?

ill attach an image to better illustrate what I mean.

Still looking for the solution. the CSS that seems to be setting the size of the background behind the image seems to be generated by "element.style {" so im guessing its hard coded into the PHP Does anyone know which php file it is in so I can go in and remove it?

This being said. maybe in a newer version of phoca gallery there could be an option to set the size (or none at all) of that background?

You might try overriding the style by adding a custom rule to the phocagallerycustom.css file in the com_phocagallery/assets/ directory.
