Uploading pictures received via email
Does anyone know a way to allow users to upload pictures to phoca gallery via email? I'm able to have them email a picture and the picture will copy to the directory where my pictures are stored in phoca gallery but it's not displayed. Has anyone done this?

Ok, I think the problem is that when files are uploaded (FTP or Media Manager), no thumbnail is created. Is there an extra step besides uploading the files that I need to do? The images are in the same folder as other images that do have a thumbnail but they aren't showing in the back end of phoca gallery.
The file names are correct (no spaces, funny characters, etc.)

the extra step you're talking about is adding the images to a category: Phoca Gallery > Images > Add (for single image) or Multiple Add (for several images at the same time).
There is no (built in) option to automate this step, this has to to be done manually.
