Fatal Error when Creating Thumbnails

I get the following error when creating Thumbnails (navigating to the "Images" menu item after uploading images.):

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 17280 bytes) in /var/www/html/clf/administrator/components/com_phocagallery/libraries/phocagallery/image/imagemagic.php on line 214

As you can see I did increase the PHP memory_limit to 64M.

I would greatly appreciate assistance with this issue at your earliest convenience.

I allocated 128M and it is working now. The pictures I uploaded where between 800KB to 3.10MB (increase the maximum size allow to upload to 5MB) with a dimension of about 4320x3240.
