Hello
I am new to phoca download and I have some issue in order to make it worked properly (even though I have already solved some by myself;;°
First, I wanted to add the preview button for all my files but I can't find where to set it. Someone told me to look inside options or parameters and enabled it but I don't have options or parameters in the panel (joomla 1.7;phocadownlad 2.1 .4) looks weird no?...
Then, i have installed the plug in to add phoca in the article but it doesn't seem to work; i have a code but nothing happens when it is published
Finally, I don't know if it is important but I have a COM_PHOCADOWNLOAD_LAYOUT_WARNING in the layout panel.
Thanks for your help!

Re: preview button and more
1.) Open Extensions->PhocaDownload->Control Panel! The option button is located in the right top corner!
2.) Make sure you have set up the file preview field for each file!
3.) COM_PHOCADOWNLOAD_LAYOUT_WARNING indicates that the language file is not up to date.
4.) Which plugin do you exactly mean? Make sure you have install the Phoca Download Plugin and for a user-friendly using the Phoca Download Button Plugin! Do you add the code to a normal Jomla article?

I have installed the phoca download button plug in (plg_editors-xtd_phocadownload_v2.1.4.zip) but i have made a donation only today. Do I have to activate something to make it work?

Do you have installed the Phoca Download Plugin too? And maybe you should check your language file!

Re: preview button and more
Yes I have installed the other one, then I have tried to uninstall both and re-installed only the phoca download button but still the same, the code doesn't load anything
this is the code I get for example :
{phocadownload view=file|id=1|text=test|target=s}
still thinking but not sure where the problem is located...
I have installed the language file for the plug in too but it doesn't seem to work also(not the main problem but maybe it is linked??)

Re: preview button and more
1. Make sure you use the right versions for your Joomla version.
2. Make sure you have installed the Phoca Download Plugin. This one will is necessary to render the code.
3. The Phoca Download Button Plugin is optional but a user-friendly possibility to add the code (only!).
4. Make sure you use the right language files! Each plugin and the component has an own one.
5. The code is only rendered in Joomla articles and a few extensions. Using it in other extensions would fail.
