Images nowhere after upload

I have installed phoca gallery today and I used to multiple upload to upload some images, which worked fine. But I can't see the uploaded images anywhere. There are nothing to be seen in the image tab. I have also made categories, but they are also empty.

Thumbnail creation status is on, and I don't get any errors or anything.

If I go to multiple upload and press on one of the folders, the images are inside the folder.

What am I doing wrong?

It's been awhile since I've done this; so, I may be off a little on this. After uploading the files, you need to go through and tag each image (click on the check box) and assign it to a category. As best as I could tell, when you do the multiple upload, it does not create the database entries for each file uploaded, but when you tag them as described above, it will add the respective image file to the category. When you do this for multiple files, don't type anything in the title and alias box as the default when empty is just the image's filename.
