Errore New images - Gateway Time-out

Joomla 1.7 - Phoca Gallery 3.0.2
Hello I have more category and subcategory and I have upload about 1000 image.
Now from jomla backend, only when click to phocagallery menu -> image for add new photos , after some second appears this page error:

Gateway Time-out
The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application
