don't want subcategories and categories list

Hi there

I don't want my subcategories been listed on my categories list. Look this page:

This one is a subcategory: "Charla en el Hogar Pequeños Milagros" inside "Charlas para Niños"

And this one is a subcategory too: "Jornada de Esterilizaciones - Julio 2011" inside "Esterilizaciones"

I want that page only showing my 2 categories: "Charlas para Niños" and "Esterilizaciones"

how can I do that? thanks in advance...

where did you find this?

I cannot seem to hide the category breadcrumb either, I am using version 2.8.0

all of my inner subcategories are displayed like this

Kitty Cats >> Brown kitty cats (5)

I just want it to say simply "Brown Kitty Cats"

Where exactly can this be changed?

and also the number of images displayed in the gallery hidden.


PhocaGallery is very powerful but the terminology is extremely confusing to me.
