Problem shadowbox effect and Internet Explorer

Hello,

i'm new in this forum, I'm French and I don't speak English very well but i'll try to explain you my problem.

I use phocagallery with joomla for my photo website. it's a very good component and there is not problem with mozilla firefox for shadowbox effect but with new version of Internet Explorer (8 or 9) the effect not playing.

I don't see any difference between FF and IE8... ( I don't use IE9)

I test with IE9 to see the problem maybe it's just with IE9. I don't know.

Hello,

for me the same with ie9. instead of the shadowbox an empty page with just the imagefile is loaded.

I think there is a problem with mootools update (I'm using joomla 1.5.23 with mtupdate 1.2.5). in ie9 with script debugging activated i get this error:

return document.id(this.createElement(a)).set(b)
SCRIPT5022: DOM Exception: INVALID_CHARACTER_ERR (5)
mootools.js, Zeile 1 Zeichen 21432

if the mtupdate plugin is not activccated everything works correctly for me. even with ie9.
