Damaged downloaded images

Hi,
I inserted galleries on my page, but when I`m trying to download any image ("Image Download" button), downloaded jpg-file always damaged, and I can not open them via any viewer. I`ve no idea why.

I`m using joomla 1.5.20 and phoca gallery 2.80. And I used cyrillic in catogories names.

Could anyone help me, please?

I tried downloaded 2 pictures and I failed to opem then with photoshop 8 and windows xp viewer. IrfanView 4.25 was able to display them. Were your images able to be displayed using your viewer prior to be uploaded?

it`s a common photos from digital photocamera, nothing special. When I downloading them from FTP directly, I can open it with any viewer. But if I do it via phoca it have been damaged. I don`t know what to do - I need download functionality at my site.

I found that after download every image is recognized as 400x400px size, no matter what was original size. That`s why they can`t be opened anywhere.
Is there any phoca option responsible for this?

Ifranview open it indeed, defines right size of image and may save it with right size - after that images are opened normally.

Hi, Phoca Gallery does not change original images, until you have not changed them or you don't have changed them while upload (e.g. resized them while java uploading)?

I uploaded photos with no changes (even names)...
Tried multiple add and directly to FTP upload with same result: faled to open downloaded image

Hi, then they are some restrictions on the server maybe?
