Can´t create menu item to category list/or categorie

I have the same problem on two different new websites.

Joomla 1.5.23
Phoca 2.8.0
php-version: 5.2.6

The installation of the phoca component was successfull. Upload of pictures an creating of categories works like charm. But it´s not possible to create a menu to the categories or to a single categorie. There is no error message, I got only a redirection to the menu overview page. The menu-item is not created.
When I copy the direct link out of the "Phoca Gallery Category List Layout", and put it into the url, it works fine and I can see the categries. But nevertheless the menu itself is not created.

There has some other people a problem with this:
