Navigation by Parent Category?

Hi,

I am trying to set up the site, so that the user first sees parent categories

when they click on one, they see categories with pictures inside. (parent categories do not have pictures inside)

how can i do it?

right now, it just shows me everything on the front page like this:

parentCat->cat1
parentCat2->cat2
parentCat->cat2

i want it to show like:

parentCat
parentCat2

and the user need to select a category to see the pictures withint the subcategories in them

Display Subcategories=No
Display Empty Categories=Yes
&: Display --> Category View Settings https://www.phoca.cz/documents/2-phoca-g ... parameters
Display Subcategories On Each Page=All Pages (or) First Page
Save your settings!
