Description does not show in detail view - and vanishes...

Hello everyone,
I am sure that it is just my own stupidity (as usual) but...
If I enter a description for my images they don show in the detail view on the gallery.
When I then go back and edit the description again - it has vanished. It looks like the
description has never been saved - although I used save & close.

I am running Joomla 1.63 and phoca 3...

Which detail view do you use? Sometimes it's a poblem of the description font color. (white font on white background...)

Hmmm. I just tested this in my test environment and here this is no issue....
No idea whats wrong there.

thank you for your quick reply - I double checked everything - all is ok (no white font on white background).
I think I solved this riddle....

I am running JCE v2.0.0beta8... As soon as I switch to TinyMCE - saved descriptions stay where they should be and show
in the detail view of the image
