Joomla 1.6 Image Display

Hello

I have installed Phoca Gallery on Joomla 1.6 thins looks fine except that when I click in the thumbnail on the gallery category windows pop blank.

Any idea whats wrong!?

I am sorry guys..Can you help me here I gave up in fixing it tried enable error but no error seen,,one issue though my setting:

Pagination Thumbnail Generation:No
Clean ThumbnailsNo
Enable Thumbnails Generation: No ( If I enable it and go to Image tab in Phoca Gallery my safari page is all whit and status (Generating Thumbnails) for long time with nothing happens unless I click on (Stop Thumbnail Generation Link) then message show (Thumbnails Generated Successfully) and setting (Enable Thumbnails Generation: No) Automatically.

You need to enable Thumbnail Generation, because if not you get your error!!
Therefore set:
Pagination Thumbnail Generation=Yes
Save yor settings!
This should solve your error....

Hello Benno,

Thank you for your help.. But when I enable Thumbnail Generation I cannot go to image tab to upload and I keep getting the following screen In the screen you see No.1 Thumbnail Generating and stay on endless loop. and I have to click on the right side No.2 Stop Thumbnail Generation to see the Admin Control panal again.

Because this setting (Pagination Thumbnail Generation=Yes) saves Server-Memory
and I think you have a memory problem.

Because this setting (Pagination Thumbnail Generation=Yes) saves Server-Memory

You mean hosting server? If yes.. Godaddy is the problem. any thing to get around it.? I don't mind to create the 3 size Thumbnails manually and upload them in proper directory..

Try to contact Godaddy to encrease the max_execution_time value in you php.ini and perhaps the memory_limit value too.

Yes that is possible but not very comfortable.
For example:
you load up your image 0001.jpg with e.g. FileZilla to the folder:
/images/phocagallery/
and you start thumbnail creation process, Phoca Gallery will create the folder:
/images/phocagallery/thumbs
and Phoca Gallery will create three different sized thumbs:
/images/phocagallery/thumbs/phoca_thumb_s_0001.jpg (default size 50x50pix)
/images/phocagallery/thumbs/phoca_thumb_m_0001.jpg (default size 100x100pix)
/images/phocagallery/thumbs/phoca_thumb_l_0001.jpg (default size 640x480pix)
