Subcategories everywhere

Hello everone,

i got just a little dumb question about how to hide all the subcategories on the front page of my gallery.
Right now my categories and subcategories are shown like this:

What i want is to hide all these subcategories off the front page, leaving just the main category "2003-2004" shown
And then these subcategories appearing after clicking on it

Hi,
backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Parameters / Options --> Categories View Settings -->
Display Subcategories=No
Display Empty Categories=Yes
Save your settings!

Thank you for quick reply.
But this solve my problem partially. Subcategories are now hidden on my gallery front page, but I cant see them after opening main category neither. I need to hide subcategories on the front page, so I can see only main categories (that solves your advice above), but I also need to be able to see subcategories after opening main category... I dont know how to explain it better

Example
front page of my gallery should look like this:

Category1
Category2
Category3

and after opening one of them (Category2) it should look like:

Subcategory2-1
Subcategory2-2
Subcategory2-3

Maybe I'm just stupid, but I have no clue how to do it Thanks

Exactly this is what the settings I posted you, do in my test environment.

Doesnt work for me somehow

Subcategories are loaded with pictures

Main categories show correctly, exactly as I want them to:


But when I open one of main categories, I just get blank space. Subcategories does not appear:


What am I doing wrong?

Ok, I think I found it.
backend --> Components --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Control Panel --> Options --> Display --> Category View Settings --> Display Subcategories On Each Page=All pages (or) First Page
Save&Close
