Can't disable overlib - 3.0.0 RC4

There seems to be a bug with the overlib effect setting. No matter what I select it has no effect.

In the backend when you go to:
"Control Panel" -> "Options" -> "Display" tab -> "Overlib Settings" -> "Overlib Effect"

There are four options:
"Only Image", "Only Description", "Image and Description" and "No"

There is no effect if I alternate between any of those options... it shows the default "Overlib" every time. In RC 2 it works fine though.

I have no idea what's wrong there. I tested this issue with 3 different templates (beez_20, phoca_t and phoca_color)
without problems...
Which template do you use?
