Problem: "_blank" dont work in joomla 1.6

Hello,

I am working in a new site with joomla 1.6, and i have tried to download external links with phocadownload but they opened in self page... also i have set "_blank" in External Download Link inside configuration panel, but this don't work.

What could i do??

sorry my mistake... it didn't work on a file that previuously was linked to a file inside my demo server, by changing it to external link the download opens in self page. But if a create a new file with externel link it opens on new page... extrange
