impossible to create Menu link

Hi,
I've installed Phoca gallery and created Menu link to the existing category of images.
I followed this procedure:
Go to: Menu » Main Menu (e.g.). You are in Menu Item Manager. Click on [New] button. You are in Menu Item. Select Phoca Gallery from Select Menu Item Type. Then select Phoca Gallery Category Layout. Add Title, don't forget to select the Phoca Gallery category in Parameters Basic. You can change the component settings in Parameters - Component.

Unfortunately I couldn't chose "Phoca Gallery Category Layout" when assigning Menu Item Type for particular Menu item (after selecting Phoca Gallery from Select Menu Item Type).
Actually, I was able to finish this assignment, but then nothing displayed within "Parameters (basic). As I understand, I need this parameters to be able to assign particular gallery category.

Do you have any idea how to solve it?

Uninstalled and installed again using ftp zip file.
