Hi,
at first...thank you for your great ideas and development.
Since I inserted more than 400 downloads in my Phoca Download database, I don't want to upgrade my site to J(oomla)1.6, so that I have to insert all downloads again (manually).
I would suggest a converter, to export datas from Joomla 1.5 to 1.6...is that possible?
Greetings from Germany
Chris

Re: J1.5 to J1.6 converter (Phoca Download database)
Hi, will be great to have some. But for now I cannot say if I will find time for doing it. I have spend the whole year 2010 with overwriting extensions to Joomla! 1.6 (for now components are ready (in beta version - still some "overwriting" bugs
) then I need to convert the modules and plugins, then maybe I will find time to do some convertor.
But will be great if someone with php and joomla skills can help while doing convertors.

Hi Jan,
it's been a long time, since your last statement to this topic.
Is it quite difficult/complex to create such a converter? Sorry that I bug you, but i want to upgrade to J1.7 (from J1.5), to get more extensions in Phoca Download and with more than 700 PD entries (with specific descriptions), this is quite difficult.
Greetings from Munich,
Chris
