Changing color of the text, buttons and boxes in Guestbook

Hi guys

can please anybody explain to a novice, where exactly in .css file, can color of the text, buttons and published guestbook entries be changed? I do not have experience with editing .css files at all, that is why, I would like to aks for your help, where exactly in the file I have to change the color?

Hi, some changes you can do in parameters (e.g. font color, etc.)

Some in the css:

components/com_phocaguestbook/assets/phocaguestbook.css

But what exactly should be changed, this depends on you

thank you very much for your reply. However, I still cannot get it, how to change colors.

Here is how I proceed: I use Firebug in Firefox to see, where in .css I have to correct colors or backgrounds. On the right bottom side in Firebug I see the .css file, where the code is to be changed. However, when I try to correct the color of Phocaguestbook entries, it shows me: element style {background: #hex} but it doesn't show in which file do I have to make corrections.

I include a screenshot, and hope on your help!

Thanks a lot for your reply. I have tried to change it in Parameters even before the previous post, but the problem is, it does not work!

I have reinstalled the Guestbook, updated it to version 1.4.4, but unfortunately, something is wrong, and I still haven't solved the problem.

Still hoping...

the problem is solved. I have deleted Phoca Guestbook with all guestbooks in it, reinstalled it and created new guestbook. The changing of the color now works, if it is done from:

Menus -> Main Menu -> Menu Item [edit] -> Parameters (Component)

If I want to change the parameters of Guestbook through: Components -> Phoca Guestbook -> control Panel -> Parameters,
the changes are not considered.
