Component Not Found

Post by kylalak »

After switching my Global Configuration to make URLs search engine friendly, Phoca Gallery gives me a "404:Component Not Found". Is there a solution to this or should I disable the preference in question?

I read it, but I understood nothing that it said. Could you give me a step-by-step instruction of how to do this?

My issue isn't until I click on a category. I can't even get to the photos, but I can get to the list of categories.

Hi,

Yes,
create a menu link to Phoca Gallery Component.
backend --> menus --> (e.g.) Main Menu --> Menu Item Manager: [mainmenu] --> (press) New (Button) --> Menu Item: [ New ] --> Phoca Gallery --> Phoca Gallery Category List Layout --> Menu Item: [ New ] -->
Title:=(as you like)
Published: Yes
(Press) Save (Button)

That`s it.
Kind regards,
Benno

I've already done that, but I still get the error. Any other suggestions?
