A Strange Error Occured Phoca Guru's Help Needed

Hello, I am new to joomla as well as on this awesome module.. I've a very huge site and I've added almost 200 catogeries and alots of images.. and it was working kewl untill now I get a strange problem I'm getting a weird error

Warning: imagecreatefromjpeg() [function.imagecreatefromjpeg]: gd-jpeg: JPEG library reports unrecoverable error: in /homepages/9/htdocs/insas/administrator/components/com_phocagallery/libraries/phocagallery/image/imagemagic.php on line 214

I googled and found maybe re-installation will help to fix this problem.. but my question is if i uninstall this module all the catogeries and images i've added before will be deleted isn't? I don't know what to do. I've this site to release on day after tomorrow.. and this thing stopped me. how do i reinstall this module.. Please help me out

Aight guys. I guess i've fixed the issue.. and don't need to reinstall. I change the resolution to 800x600 my pics were around 1654x2441 quite large. but anyhow if someones getting this problem the solution is to change the resolution to 800x600
